William holds the promising position of Survey Cadet within our firm, a role in which he not only supports our seasoned surveyors in various field operations but also infuses our projects with a vibrant, youthful perspective. His fresh outlook and keen enthusiasm for the surveying profession make him a valuable asset to our team.


Complementing his practical experience in the field, William is currently pursuing a degree in Surveying Science at the University of Southern Queensland. This academic endeavour underscores his commitment to mastering the discipline, as he diligently seeks to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world surveying challenges. His dedication to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application enhances his contributions to our projects and fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement within our team.


Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, William's passion for mathematics and nature extends into his personal life. He is actively involved in the local community through his volunteer work with the Scouting movement, where he dedicates his weeknights and weekends to mentoring young individuals. 


Looking to the future, William aspires to achieve Cadastral endorsement, a goal that reflects his ambition to make significant contributions to the scientific and surveying community and Atkinson Surveys.
